Brenda J. Carter, 72, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. Brenda was born December 30, 1947 in Eldorado to the late Lowell and Ruby (Myers) Wheeler. She married William E. “Bill” Carter who preceded her in death on October 22, 2008. Brenda enjoyed being a homemaker and a farmers wife. She is survived by three children: William E. Carter, Jr. of Dale, Lowell A. (Dana) Carter of McLeansboro, Virginia (Richard) Amberger of Camby, IN, a daughter-in-law: Rita Holland, a brother: Keith (Diane) Wheeler of Harrisburg, a sister: Linda (Rich) Nerht of McLeansboro, six grandchildren: RJ (Jaci) Amberger of IN, Heather (Eddie Champion) Amberger of IN, William (Jessica) Carter, III of Eldorado, Brittney Carter of Eldorado, Colton Carter of McLeansboro, Austin Carter of McLeansboro, ten great grandchildren: Remington, Barrett, Cohen, Savannah, Kya, Liam, Brantley, Kamdyn, Bradyn, Carlee, several nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law: Cathy Carter and Sue DeVoy and families. Graveside services will be at 11:00am Tuesday December 1, 2020 at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. There will be no visitation, those attending should go directly to the cemetery. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and will be accepted at the cemetery.
