Brian Carl Mann Sherrod, 47, resident of Harrisburg passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his residence. Brian was born August 5, 1973 in Carterville to the late Daniel and Sally (McNeil) Mann. Brian Mann and Dennis Sherrod started seeing each other October 31, 1991 and were married August 10, 2011. They resided in Saline County. Brian C. Mann Sherrod suffered from a long illness and passed away at his home with his loving husband beside him. Brian worked many jobs in his life to include McDonalds and The Book Cellar. He was a lifelong performer and singer, co-owner of Part-time Karaoke, which they played in several counties and made many lifelong friends and had a loyal following. His father and mother, two brothers: Danny and Mark, mother-in-law: Shirley Sherrod and two nieces preceded him in death. He is survived by his husband: Dennis D. Sherrod, father-in-law: Dan (Debbie) Sherrod, sister-in-law: Nina Sherrod, brothers-in-law: Scott (Connie) Sherrod, Chuck (Lisa) Sherrod, Jim (Robbie) Sherrod, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed greatly. A special thank you to Anthony and Amber Funaro Anntoinette and Cody Underwood. Visitation is 11:00am to 1:00pm Sunday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. There will be brief remarks at 1:00pm at the funeral home and burial will immediately follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery south of Harrisburg.
