Carl E. Mayberry

Carl E. Mayberry, 96, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at his residence. Carl was born April 7, 1927 in Eldorado to the late Carl E. and Aileen (Brown) Mayberry. Carl worked as a boilermaker in Michigan for many years.  He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. Carl is survived by two daughters Janet Ann (Bill) Ashby of Eldorado, Linda Kay Hardy of Ina, three grandchildren: Charles Wayne (Amy) Michel, Laura Ann Hedrick, Tonya Hardy, five great grandchildren: Kristina Hedrick, Kyle Hedrick, Josh Hedrick, Melissa (Josh) Nurrenbern, Allison (Dakota) Short and one great great grandson: Owen Nurrenbern. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Norma Watson Mayberry and a step-son: Charles “Mike” Dodd. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Rev. Roy Dale Orr officiating. There will be no visitation, those attending should go directly to the cemetery.
