Daniel J. Eckleberry

Daniel J. “Danny” Eckleberry, 81, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.  Danny was born November 22, 1938 in Fairfield, Illinois to the late Kelly and Velma (Meeks) Eckleberry. He married Mary Lou James who survives. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church of DuQuoin. In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister: Diane Mathis and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Ruth Marie Eckleberry and two sisters: Hazel Reeves and Loretta Bencini. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Gaylen Holden and Rev. L.D. Jolly officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 11:00 am to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
