DeLinda Brooke (Lewis) Elder

DeLinda Brooke Elder, 56, of Olney, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025.

DeLinda was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on April 12, 1969, to the late Edward and Pauline (Tolbert) Lewis. On December 16, 1988, she married the love of her life, Paul Elder.

DeLinda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family deeply. She was also a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and cherished His teachings.

In addition to her husband, Paul, DeLinda is survived by her son, Jacob Elder; her daughter, Angela (Joshua) Hollingsworth; her brother, Phillip (Vicki) Lewis; her sister, Leisa (Dan) Ross; and three beautiful grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, April Ford.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, with Russell Helton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery.
