Deborah Kay Pankey, 63, peacefully passed away at 5:20am, May 17, 2020 after a long hard battle with cancer. Debbie as as most knew her was born September 3, 1956 in Harrisburg to Zelda Ann Owen. She worked most of her adult life as a pharmacy technician. The latter years she worked at the Medicine Shoppe in Harrisburg. On July 15, 1998 she married John Pankey, Jr. who survives. Debbie and her husband loved to ride motorcycles with their friends who knew her best as “Aunt B”. Most recently they spent most of their time at home with their two Great Danes. Debbie is survived by her husband John, a daughter: Stephanie (Jamie) Willis, a granddaughter: Becca (Daniel) Tucker, a grandson: Austin Willis, a great granddaughter: Lydia Tucker, two brothers: Ron (Kaylee) Owen and Jeff (Carrie) Ward. She also considered her coworkers to be like family. She was preceded in death by her mother in April, 1985. Per her wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service may be planned at a later date.
