Donald R. DeBose, Sr.

Donald R. DeBose, Sr., 75, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Donald was born June 18, 1947 in Marion, Kentucky to the late Bill and Lucy Golda (Cobwell). He married the former Janet F. Simpson who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons: Ricky (Terri) DeBose of Eldorado, Donald (Traci) DeBose of Eldorado, Chris Miller of Eldorado, three daughters: Rita (Charlie) Holland of Carmi, Joyce (Kendall) Jones of Herrin, Candi (Doug) Basham of KY, a brother: Clifford (Joan) DeBose of Harrisburg, a sister: Dorothy Smith of Woodriver, two sisters-in-law: Eva DeBose of Carmi, Judy DeBose of Eldorado, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 7 brothers, 4 sisters and one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Charles Curry officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 a.m until service time. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
