Drew W. Blair, 73, of Harrisburg, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Drew was born on January 21, 1952, in Harrisburg, to the late Earl and Corina (Brittain) Blair. A dedicated pharmacist, he served the Harrisburg community for many years with care and professionalism. He is survived by two daughters, Mena (Matt) O’Connor of Missouri and Brandi (Drew) Bills of Indiana; two brothers, Tom (Pat) Blair of Missouri and Archie Blair of Harrisburg; and five grandchildren: Riley Owczarzak of Texas, Fagan O’Connor and Blair O’Connor of Missouri, and Dax and Brittain Bills of Indiana. He is also survived by three nephews: Ryan, David, and Joe. On November 28, 1995, Drew married Rhonda Chavis, who preceded him in death on June 28, 2024. Through this union, he gained two children: Eric Chavis of Texas and Mesha (Kevin) Chavis-Owczarzak of Texas. Drew had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. The Shawnee National Forest was his sanctuary, where he found joy and peace. An avid adventurer, he could often be found on a mountain bike, hiking trails, skiing—both on water and snow—or swimming. Nature was not just his passion, it was his spiritual home. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will be accorded and no public services will be held.
