Freda “Lou” Louise Connett, 88, resident of Eldorado passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday morning September, 16, 2020 at her residence. Lou was born March 1, 1932 in Eldorado to the late Harold and Hazel (Akins) Hafford. She married John W. (Bill) Connett who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Eldorado Church of God & had been attending New Life Full Gospel Assembly in Harrisburg (currently New Life Christian Center in Equality) since 2017. Lou is survived by a daughter: Jeanna Weaver of Eldorado, grandchildren: Tami (Eric) Zacovic of Eldorado, Sharon Weaver of Galatia, J.R. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son: James Rex Connett, a grandson: Billee Evans, brothers: Kenny & John David (Crockett) Hafford, nieces: Becky Tyler & Candace Gwaltney, nephews: Mike Nation and Timothy Tyler, and three brothers-in-law: Don Tyler, Thurman (Bud) Nation and Don Gwaltney. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Blake Clayton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 11:00 am to service time.
