Gerry wore many hats in her lifetime including being a beautician, secretary at Calvary Christian Academy, CNA and cook at Finnie’s Nursing Home, receptionist of 21 years for Dr. Ewell, working the Closet of Second Blessings, receptionist at Saline County Housing, but her best hats she wore were being a mother and grandmother. Gerry throughly enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, attending Cattle Shows, spending time with her Star Church family, her Saturday nights with Robbie, Sandy and Janet but her two true passions in life were being highly involved in the Closet of Second Blessings and having pizza parties with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Melvin Maricle. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday August 23, 2020 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 11:00 am to service time. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
