Gordon D. Woolard

Gordon D. Woolard, 73, resident of Eldorado went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, February 7, 2020 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Gordon was born June 9, 1946 in Harrisburg to the late Howard and Mable (Roberts) Woolard.  On April 9, 1966 he married his grade school sweetheart Ellen K. Harrelson. He was a member of Star General Baptist Church.  He and his wife own and operate Ozment Real Estate in Harrisburg. Gordon is survived by his wife of 53 years Ellen K. Woolard, a son: Gordon D. Woolard, Jr. of FL, a daughter: Kelley (Randy) Gates of Harrisburg, brothers: Jerry (Judy) Woolard of NC, Lindell Woolard of FL, a sister: Renee (Bill) Stark of Eldorado, a grandson: Landon Gates of Harrisburg, several nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Monday, February 10, 2020 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am to service time on Monday.  Burial will be in Rhine Cemetery in Raleigh.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Star Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.  Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
