Gutherie D. Willis

Guthrie D. Willis, 78, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Guthrie was born January 31, 1943 in Elizabethtown, Illinois to the late Austin and Essie (Clark) Willis. He married the former Gayla E. Prince who survives. Guthrie worked as a coal miner prior to retirement. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children: Brandon Willis of Eldorado, Greg (Kim) Willis of FL, Gary Willis of FL, two brothers: Frank (Judy) Willis of KY, Roger (Barbara) Willis of Evansville, IN, two sisters: Janice (Marvin) Rash of Eldorado, Maxine Willis-Maddox of Harrisburg and a grandson: Saylor Willis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Gwen Willis, six brothers: James Willis, Neal Willis, Virgil Willis, Winford Willis, Charles Willis, Leonard Willis, three sisters: Ava Birch, Mona Lou Willis and Freda Mason. Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm Monday, October 18, 2021 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Roger Willis officiating.
