Hattie Mae Ruiz, 88, resident of Chicago, formally of Eldorado, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Rainbow Hospice Ark in Chicago. Hattie was born February 7, 1933 in Enfield, Illinois to the late George B. and Anna (Barrett) Alldredge. She married Felipe Ruiz who preceded her in death April 10, 2020. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Catholic Church in Chicago. Hattie is survived by two sons: Mario (Vicki) Ruiz of Florida, Alan (Betty) Ruiz of Northlake, two daughters: Yolanda (John) Sedivy of Chicago, Linda Woytych of Des Plains, grandchildren: Chris (Ako) Ruiz, Dane (Kendra) Ruiz, Ryan (Kristin) Sedivy, Eric Sedivy, John Sedivy, Sara Sedivy, Theresa (Joe) Truitt, Clinton (Michele) Ruiz, John (Anne) Ruiz, Timothy Woytych, Sean Woytych, Mary Woytych, Nicholas Woytych, great grandchildren: Nyah, Khloe, Lilly, Matthew, Nathan, Lucius, Erika, Alyssa, and Joey. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 5 siblings: Louis, Raymond, Daniel, Eugene, and Ellen. A mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00am Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eldorado with Fr. Christian Iwaugwu officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eldorado. Visitation will be from 8:30am to 9:30 am on Wednesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Social distancing and masks will be required.
