Henry H. Bramlet, 85, was born August 15, 1936 to Harmon and Ruth (Hall) Bramlet in Wasson, IL. He was raised on the family farm of 4 generations and farming was definitely in his blood. He served our country in the US Army from 1956-1958 and served most of that time in Korea and received a good conduct medal. He came back home to help his father run the family farm where he served on the Saline County Farm Bureau for 22 years and Saline County Soil and Water Conservation Board for 38 years. In doing so he got to travel and visit all over America for the different convention that they each had. He was a goal buster salesman for Dekalb seed corn for 22 years and two time dealer of the year, a past member of the Eldorado Legion and a lifetime member of the Eldorado VFW. He was a dedicated member of the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Rita (McDaniel) Bramlet, sister: Donna Harper, sons: Charlie (Penny) Bramlet, Darrin (Sheryl) Bramlet, Joe (Rona) Bramlet, special niece/daughter: Sally Harper Dubble, grandchildren: Brooke (Jeff) Taylor, Coleman (Marissa) Bramlet, Lindsay (John) Abell, Dustin Bramlet, Danielle (Cody) Brown, Dresdyn (special friend Keaton Baldwin) Bramlet, Sarah (Gary) Hileman, Jarrett (Brittany) Littlefield, Jaden (Amanda) Littlefield, great grandchildren: Nate, Wyatt, Jenna and Emmet Taylor, Emerson Abell, Gavin Blue, Hudson Bramlet, Caleb, Mackenzie Hileman, Teagan, Tyson Littlefield, Joel Daniel Littlefield. He was preceded in death by his parents and great grandson Greyson Bramlet. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Darrell Ford and Rev. Russ Stephens officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am to service time. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rites. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church building fund and can be left at the funeral home.
