Henry Dean Sauls, 86, resident of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his residence. Dean was born October 2, 1937 in Ridgway, Illinois to the late Jesse and Aretta (Peas) Sauls. He married the former Peggy Dillard who survives. He served in the US Army. Dean is survived by his wife of over 66 years Peggy Sauls, three children: Scott (Cristy) Sauls of Omaha, Regina Shelton of Eldorado, Frank (Cathy) Sauls of Eldorado, two siblings: Gail Henderson of Omaha, Ricky Sauls of Norris City, grandchildren: Leif and Brittany Johnson of Equality, Kyle and Jackie Sauls of MO, Mike and Cristin Cleek of Omaha, Jay and Pegan Pyle of Carmi, Brian Barlow of Omaha, Keeley and Brad Williams of Eldorado, Stephanie Worth of Mt. Vernon, Timmy Sauls of Eldorado, Carrie Sauls of IN, great grandchildren: Erica Johnson, Bryer Sauls, Kenny King, Bryson Sauls, Brahm Johnson, Gavin Cleek, Evan Cleek, Magnolia June Cleek, Josephine Pyle, Arthur Dean Pyle, Willa Jean Pyle, Jacob Gibbs, Braydon Williams, Amelia Worth, Scarlett Worth. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a infant son: Mark Dean Sauls, siblings: Aileen Crayne, Jesse “Bud” Sauls, Jenny York, Robert Sauls, Truman E. Sauls, Deanna Hunt, Charles Mike Sauls and two infant sisters. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, May 3, 2024 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Blake Clayton officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery with military rites.
