James Robert Ruphard

James Robert “Bobby” Ruphard, 58, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his residence. Bobby was born July 3, 1962 in Eldorado, Illinois. He graduated from Eldorado High School in 1980. After high school he worked as a painter for Goss Painting then at Kroger in Harrisburg, Russell Oil Company in Harrisburg, Carrier Mills, Eldorado and Galatia and later worked a self employed painter. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing and demolition derbies. Bobby is survived by two children: Sara Ruphard of Eldorado, a son: William Ruphard of Eldorado, his father: Ronald (Lee) Ruphard of Manchester, NH and his mother: Bonnie Louise Goss of Eldorado, sister: Misty (Corey) Goss Pugh of Raleigh, MS, nieces and nephews: Trinity Pugh, Faith Pugh, Damian Pugh, Nicole Campbell, Paul Sanchez, Britt Sanchez and David Cabral and his former wife and friend: Audra Ruphard Willis of Henderson, KY. He was preceded in death by his step-father Wilburn Goss, a sister: Bonnie Faye Ruphard, and his grandparents: Ruby and Joe Ruphard and Bonnie and Inman Hargrave. Bobby was cremated at his request and there are no services planned at this time.  Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
