Jeanna A. Weaver, 72, resident of Eldorado passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. Jeanna was born September 26, 1952 in Eldorado to the late John W. “Bill” and Freda Louise “Lou” (Hafford) Connett. Jeanna worked for the Eldorado Unit 4 School System as a bus driver often taking teams to different sporting events after school. It did not matter the sport, she was that teams’ “Biggest Cheerleader”. After she retired from bus driving she worked as a greeter at the Eldorado Elementary School. She was one of the first female workers at the San Manuel Copper Mine in San Manuel, Arizona. Jeanna is survived by one daughter; Tami L. (Eric) Zacovic of Eldorado, two sons; J.R. (Danielle) Waychoff of Eldorado, Ronnie R. Waychoff of Eldorado, an aunt; Sharon Gwaltney of Eldorado, two stepchildren; Sharon Weaver of Galatia, Rev. Mike (Lynelyn) Weaver of Eldorado, grandchildren; Evan, Lindy, Dmitri, Daniel, Taylin, Keyandre, Nikolas, Makayla, Rocco, Joseph, Hunter, Dalton, Derrick, 5 great grandchildren, a special cousins Troy Gwaltney of Eldorado and the Murray family, a sister-in-law, Brenda K. Foutch of Galatia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ricky Weaver, a son; Billee Evans, a brother; James Rex and a daughter-in-law; Melissa Evans. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Blake Clayton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery.
