Jeanne Ruth (Caldwell) Eckleberry

Jeanne Ruth “Ruthie” Eckleberry, age 61, of the Union Grove/ Morgan City, Alabama community passed away suddenly Thursday, July 4, 2024 at her residence. Jeanne was born on January 24, 1963 in Eldorado, Illinois to Robbie Caldwell and Phyllis Ward Caldwell. Jeanne loved spending time with her family and loved being a grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and thrifting at yard sales. In her spare time you’d find her cuddled up with her cats Mittens and Anna Bell reading a book or watching her favorite NCIS shows. Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Francesca Eckleberry and Ashley Venable (Rendan); mother, Phyllis Jean Caldwell; daughter-in-law, Cassandra Eckleberry; sister, Debbie Reeder and seven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Eckleberry; sons, Jonah Eckleberry & Joshua Eckleberry; father, Robbie Caldwell and brother, Steven Caldwell. Visitation will be 10:00am -11:00am Monday, July 15, 2024. Graveside services will follow at Old Springerton Cemetery in Springerton.
