Jennifer Lynn (Smith) Andrews, age 75, of Eldorado, passed away at Reflections Memory Care on Monday, April 14th, 2025. Jennifer, a Baptist by faith, was born in Christopher on June 11, 1949, the daughter of the late Charles and Geneva Smith. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Andrews, sons and daughter-in-laws, Aaron and Natalie Andrews of Haubstadt; Jonny and Katie Andrews of Newburgh; three grandsons, Kayden Cole (Aaron & Natalie), Porter Thomas (Jonny & Katie) and Carter Patrick (Jonny & Katie); two granddaughters Kylee Jo (Aaron & Natalie) and Paisley Marie (Jonny & Katie). Jennifer graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Jennifer owned and operated Handcrafted by Jennifer. As a showing artist, she and her husband traveled throughout the Midwest as an exhibitor at craft shows and also shared her art with local vendors and shops. Jennifer loved to spend time nurturing her flower gardens and decorating her home for the holidays. She loved decorating for Christmas and would have more than 16 Christmas trees displayed in her home. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her brother, Charles L. Smith, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating.
