Jerry Lee Mace, 80, resident of Eldorado, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. Jerry was born December 21, 1943 to the late Howard Mace and Eva Hafford. Jerry married the former Jackie Grasty on August 4, 1962, she preceded him in death. Jerry was a christian by faith and a member of Straitgate Ministries in Eldorado. He shared his love of the Lord with many throughout his life. Jerry was a carpet layer for many years prior to retirement. He was an avid hunter and he enjoyed hunting with his family including his nephew Bobby Mace who he held a special bond with. His love for his family was very evident to anyone who knew him. He was the patriarch of the family and was known as Boompa and carried the title well. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed. Jerry is survived by three children: Karen Mace, Stacey Mace Campbell, Joey (Dolly) Mace, four grandchildren: Hunter Mace, Mackenzie (Brennon) McCord, Justin (Tykeesha) Mace, Gabe (Hevyn Riddle) Campbell, great grandchildren: Brenlee, Myla, Emmalynn, Journi, and upcoming baby McCord, three sisters: Linda Hankins, Dene Scroggins, Rose Cameron, nieces and nephews: Bobby Mace, Kelly Wren, Renee Mace, Trisha Saalman, Amy Hankins, Kyle Hankins, Brian Scroggins, Bill Scroggins, Becky Rutledge, Lynn Karnes, Lori Oxford and Lisa Mayberry. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother: George Robert Mace and nephew: Darin Hankins. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm (Noon) Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Curt Morris officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time on Thursday. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
