Jim Choisser

Jim Choisser passed away on November 25, 2023 in Little Rock, AR.  Jim was born in Eldorado, Illinois on February 6, 1932 to the late Emil and Ruth (Jones) Choisser. On January 13, 1952 Jim married Hallie Simmons who survives.  They have 3 children, Cindy Choisser of Sherwood, AR, Emily Powers (Mark) of Oconomowac, WI, and Jeff Choisser (Rhonda) of Dallas TX.  Jim has 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Jim served in the US Army for 2 years. He then attended SIU and DeVry Technical Institute.  Jim retired from Siemans Medical Corporation where he was a Service Engineer.  After retirement, Jim's passion was fishing and traveling the US and Europe.  Jim attended the Community of Christ Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, IL.  Service to follow with Elder Glenn Webb, Community of Christ officiating.  Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community of Christ Church, 1415 West 41st Street, North Little Rock, AR 72118 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
