Joyce Lynn Watters, 60, resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her residence. Joyce was born September 14, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois to John Froman and the former Shirley Trent. On June 16, 1979 she married Roger Dale Watters who survives. Joyce loved life. She loved spending time with her family, she loved her husband, kids, grandkids and her fur baby Shep. Her favorite color was blue and she enjoyed her Wal-Mart day every Tuesday. She enjoyed watching Divorce Court, Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon and TLC. She liked going to the As Seen On TV Stores. She loved “spooky season” and watching scary movies. She collected crystals, mostly from the Earthbound store. She loved McDonald’s COKE and her “ciggys”. She enjoyed vacations to Orlando, Gatlinburg and Panama City Beach. She had a knack for giving her husband Roger chores to do. She liked to play Rock Band and work puzzles with her kids. She was very proud of her flower gardens, Koi pond and Disney collection’s. She was a proud supporter of Donald Trump. She wasn’t a regular momma, she was funny, and liked acting goofy and silly.  She had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with her husband preparing meals and would throw the occasional curse word out to keep her kids on their toes. One of her favorite things to say to her husband was, “Don’t be cheap Roger!” Joyce is survived by her father: John Froman, her mother: Shirley Turner, her husband: Dr. Roger Watters, mother-in-law: Ricky Watters, four children: Amanda Clark, Josh (Emily) Watters, Melissa (James) Lester, Stacy (Brandon) Harner, another “son” the family pet: Shep, siblings: Christina Froman (Bernie Haraburda), Joseph (Heidi) Huffman, John Froman, grandchildren: McKenzie (Jacky) Baker, Tyler Lester, Halleigh Watters, Graecyn Watters, Reese Watters, Annie Clark, Abby Clark, Maylee Lester, Gatlin Watters, extended family: Irvin (Amanda) Trent, Jr., Cassie Trent and Nancy Leach, family and friends: Jack (Johnna) Johnson, Kathy Parton, Cindy Brown, many nieces and nephews and four grand fur babies: Rocky, Toby, Rima and Willow. Joyce was preceded in death by her step-father: Chuck Turner, uncle Bo and a son-in-law: Garrett Clark. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Blake Bradley officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday form 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
