Julie Ann George

Julie Ann George, 75, resident of Galatia passed away September 4, 2024 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Julie was born November 25, 1948 in Alexandria, VA to the late William and Betty (Booth) George. Julie was a longtime employee of the Village of Galatia and worked at the Harrisburg Walmart for 20 years prior to retirement. She was a member of the Galatia First Baptist Church. She is survived by a son: Bill Gulledge of Galatia, a daughter: Cheryl Bell of Mt. Juliet, TN, two brothers: Mark (Gwen) George of TX, Chris George of VA, a sister: Mona (George) Coupé of FL and four grandchildren: Dakota Mitchell, Christina Mitchell, Jacob Bell and Megan Bell.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: David George and two sisters: Linda Fawley and Sharon George.
