Junior “Bogie” Boggess, Jr., 60, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his residence. Junior was born December 25, 1962 in Eldorado to the late William C. “Sonny” and Sharon Sue (Lampert) Boggess. He married the former Kelly C. Devoy who preceded him in death on November 24, 2021. He worked as a boilermaker out of local 1 from 1987 until retirement. Junior is survived by his children: Heidi (Dustin) Goddard, Damian (Ericka) Boggess, Gretchen (Mitchell) Mayberry, and Fallon Engle, grandchildren: Hannah Farmer, Hallie Boggess, Hayden Farmer, Maddux Carney, Olivia Mayberry, Abel Boggess, Jet Farmer, Hollyn Boggess, Jarrah Farmer, Isaac Engle, Emerson Engle, Marin Mayberry, Scout Boggess and Ava Goddard, two siblings: Julia (Jimmy) Atkinson, Aaron (Angie) Boggess, brother-in-law: Roger (Susie) Devoy  and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a sister Faye DeBose. The family would like to thank the Storm Riders group for all their help and support over the last several months. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm (noon) Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
