Ladine was often known as “Deanie” by her family and friends and known as “Sister Davis” by her church family. Ladine lived in Rocksprings, Wyoming, for many years where she and Bill owned their store.  She later moved to Illinois to be closer to her family. Ladine enjoyed shopping and making cherished memories with her family. Some of her favorite things were baking with her family and friends, watching her great-grandkids, painting, reading the Bible and singing her favorite Hymns. Ladine loved spending the holidays with her family and never left a gathering without taking a family photo for her to proudly display and admire. Ladine was an active member of her church, River of Life United Pentecostal Church, in Harrisburg, Illinois. She taught Sunday School and played the piano and accordion for the majority of her life. Ladine was a strong believer in her Heavenly Father, and knew that one day she would be welcomed back home. Ladine’s family would like to thank the nurses of the ICU at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for their compassion.
