Lenola Francis (Shaeffer) Hoskins

Lenola Francis Hoskins, 81, of Norris City, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana. Fran was born January 9, 1944, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, to the late Homer and Opal (Tate) Shaeffer. She married her sweetheart, Melvin E. Hoskins, on September 27, 1991, in Paducah, Kentucky. She worked in insurance sales and took great pride in helping others through her work. She is survived by her sons, James D. (Tammy) Chapman of West Paducah and Carl W. Andres Jr. of Brandenburg, Kentucky; grandchildren, Danielle (Jared) Thweatt of Paducah, Rachel Chapman of Paducah, Kathryn Fort of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, J. Morgan Andres of Irvington, Kentucky, and Cameron (Danae) Chapman of Harrisburg, Illinois; and great-grandchildren, Harrison, Paxton, Easton, and Anniston Thweatt, and Mina Chapman, Sarah Fort, and Jon Fort. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Duella (Tate) Toler. Honoring Lenola’s wishes, there will be no services.
