Loretta (Gross) Turner

Loretta (Gross) Turner, 63, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Loretta was born August 15, 1956 in Harlan, KY to the late George W. and Delta (Howard) Gross.  She married Kilburn Turner who preceded her in death December 18, 2006. She worked as a CNA at Fountainview Nursing Home prior to retirement. She is survived by four children: Yolanda (Kenny) Baugher of Galatia, Lacretia Turner of Eldorado, Nedra (Les) Cantrell of Eldorado, Kilburn (Crystal) Turner of Galatia, six grandchildren: Alexandria Turner of Eldorado, Levi Cantrell of Eldorado, Brock Cantrell of Eldorado, Austin Turner of Galatia, Tiffany Turner of Galatia, Zach Dolden of IN, a special cousin: Gail (Bill) Belvins of KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers: Henry, Estil, Austin and a sister: Vina Jane Wynn. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, September 18, 2020 with Rev. Randy Sork officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 11:00am to service time.  Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
