Lottie Pearl Pruitt, 92, of Eldorado, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was born on June 25, 1933, in Kentucky to the late Cosby and Flora Mae Stone. Lottie was a woman of strong faith who loved attending church and living a life devoted to her beliefs. She treasured her family deeply and found great joy in spending time with those she loved. Lottie was married to the love of her life, Herschel Pruitt, until his passing in 1984. Together they shared many years of love and memories that remained close to her heart throughout her life. She is survived by her son, David (Connie) Dishman of Eldorado, daughters; Julie (David) Chamberlin of Ridgway, Jonell (Eddie) Butts of Eldorado, Cathy (Larry) Davis of Chicago, sister, Mary Edith Simpson of Alabama as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren whom she adored. In addition to her parents and husband, Lottie was preceded in death by her son, James Darrell, daughters; Kathy Huebner, Connie Alzate, brothers; Thurman Stone, Herman Stone, Malcom Stone, and her sister, Almeda Knight. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Southern Illinois Hospice and Eldorado Nursing and Rehab for their services. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Reverend Roy Dale Orr officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home followed by burial at Wolf Creek cemetery.
