Lynn Williams

Lynn Williams, age 56, resident of Galatia, Illinois passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021 at Herrin Hospital, in Herrin, Illinois Due to complications from Covid 19. Lynn was born October 5, 1964 in Murphysboro, Illinois to Eldon Ray Williams and Eloise Tena Williams. Lynn was an amazing husband, father, brother, Poppy and friend who loved his family, his Shinedown Nation family, enjoyed camping and fishing, and collecting NFL Teenymates. His favorite team was the Green Bay Packers."GOPACKGO" was chanted by him often. Lynn married his soulmate Lindsey Ann (Wall) Williams who survives. Lynn is also survived by his 6 children, Brandy Lynn Williams of Bonnie, Illinois, Thomas Eldon Williams of Bonnie,Illinois, Michael Lee (D'Lisa) Williams of Raleigh, Illinois Ashley Brooke (Jeff Rickmon) Shirley of Eldorado, Mason Eldon and Skylynn Ann Williams of Galatia, Illinois, 8 grandchildren Gracie Mae Shirley, Silas Jaxon Rae Shirley, Ronald Cole Rickmon all of Eldorado, Illinois D'anna Nicole, Bailey Brooke, Delaney Ann, and Peyton Lee Williams all of Raleigh, Illinois and a Bonus Granddaughter Alexia Rickmon of Eldorado, 3 Siblings Harold Ray Williams of Murphysboro, Illinois Debra Mellon of Plant city, Florida, Patrica Dyess of Plant City Florida. An Aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Lynn is proceeded in Death by his Mother Tena and father Ray, a brother Michael, Son in law Justin Shirley, and Mother in law Tracy Hankins Lynn will be laid to rest at Colbert Cemetery beside his mother. Services will held at Colonial Terrace Funeral home on Monday, September 27, 2021 Visitation will be from 11am to Service time at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be paid directly to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
