Marilynn Sue McDowell

Marilynn Sue McDowell, 71, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Marilynn was born October 5, 1946 in Eldorado to the late J.L. and Pauline (Bates) Cox. Before retirement, Marilynn was employed at Burnett’s Bank in Eldorado. She was a member of The New Life Full Gospel Church in Harrisburg. Marilynn is survived by a son: Kevin McDowell of Harrisburg, a daughter: Dana (Rob) Simmons of Galatia, grandchildren: Rivers Simmons, Jordan Simmons, Makenzie (Tyler) Tuttle, Macie McDowell, Dylan McDowell and her great grand dogs: Gidget and Bo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Carrol Cox and Danny Joe Cox and a sister Sandra Allen.  Graveside services will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Pastor Blake Clayton officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Friends and family should go directly to the cemetery.  Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
