Mary Elizabeth DeBose Groves, 93, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab. Mary was born January 29, 1928 in Morganfield, KY to the late Charles W. and Mary O. (Felty) Stone. She married Willard F. DeBose who preceded her in death. Mary is survived by 4 sons: William (Jeannie) DeBose of KY, Charles (Sandy) DeBose of Bethalto, James DeBose of KY, Gary DeBose of Eldorado, 2 daughters: Barbara Garrison of Raleigh, Patty (Lowell) Trovillion of FL, 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Ralph, Melvin and Charles, 2 sisters: Belinda Redfarin, Phyllis Nokes and one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday, November 15, 2021 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Aaron Phelps officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery in Ridgway.
