Mary Alice Workman, 93, resident of Harrisburg passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at her residence. Mary was born May 25, 1932 in Findlay, Illinois to the late Arthur Wayne and Mildred (Marshall) Barnes. She married Robert Gene Workman who preceded her in death. Mary worked as a CNA at Pearce Hospital for 26 years and later at Ferrell Hospital. She was a member of Smarts Chapel Church. She enjoyed fishing, church, playing cards, bingo, dancing but mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Bob (Linda) Workman of Harrisburg, Vicki Ann (Don) Haney of Harrisburg, Mary Kay (Kenny) Webb of Evansville, IN, Becky (John) Alexander of Stonefort, Phylis (Bill) Parish of Harrisburg, sisters; Marilyn Bower of Moweaqua, Sharon Barnes of Moweaqua, Sue Kramer of Tuscola, Gloria Barnes of Moweaqua, grandchildren; Robert (Brenda) Workman, Kim (James) Barnes, Stephanie Workman, Dawna Workman, Maryann Neal, Donna Rae (Johnny) Knight, John Robert (Tina) Haney, David (Tracy) Workman, Nicholas (Madison) Sullivan, Charles Robert (Sara) Martin, Melissa (Johnny) Pankey, Jennifer (John) Wilds, Stacia (Lloyd) Parker, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by children; Wayne Workman, David Alan Workman, Marsha Workman, Dawna Sue Workman, Brenda Kay Workman, siblings; Aubrey Wayne Barnes, Kenny Barnes, Bill Barnes, Kathy Stinson, Barbara Russell, Yvonne Barnes, Darlene Cunningham, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Bob Workman and Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time on Thursday. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
