Mila Shaun Abell

Mila Shaun Abell, 15 days, resident of Ridgway, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at St. Louis children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mila was born in Newburgh, Indiana on April 11, 2026 to Lauryn Abell. Mila is survived by her mother, Lauryn of Ridgway, sister, Eden Will, grandparents; Kristi Abell, Johnny Abell, Shannon Sauls, great grandparents; Irma Moye, Helen Abell, Patricia Lane, and aunt, Morgan (Jonathan) Hale. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Michael Abell, and great grandparents; Noble Moye, John Abell, and Bill Lane. Though present for only two weeks, this precious baby was surrounded by profound love from the very beginning. In that short time, she brought immeasurable joy to her family and left an enduring imprint on every heart she touched. Her life, however fleeting, was filled with tenderness, hope, and a bond that will never be broken. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Ridgway with Rev. Scott Luckett officiating. Burial at Jackson Cemetery will follow.
