Ora Paul Hausser, 84, resident of Raleigh passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at his residence. Ora Paul was born July 7, 1939 in Eldorado to the late Charles Robert and Lily Bell (Whitler) Hausser. He married the former Barbara Kay Mings who survives. Ora Paul worked for the Galatia School system for many years. He was a member of Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg where he was a deacon. Ora Paul is survived by his wife: Kay Hausser of Raleigh, a son: Michael Paul (Jody) Hausser of NC, two daughters: Diane Kay Hausser of Eldorado, Kristine Kathryn (Tom) McSparin of Raleigh, three grandchildren: Jordan Nicholas (Rebecca) Grathler of Harrisburg, Caleb Andrew McSparin of Raleigh, Sarah Elizabeth McSparin of Raleigh, two great grandchildren: Eli Brown, Rhett Grathler and two sisters-in-law: Dolores Hausser of CA and Laura Belle Hausser of Chicago. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Wesley Hausser and Ralph Eugene Hausser. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2024 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Friday 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
