Paula Anderson

Paula Anderson, 97, a resident of Galatia, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on May 10, 1929, in Eldorado, Illinois, to the late Elmer and Lillian (Choisser) Wilson. Paula married Donald Trail and later in life she married Leo Anderson, and together they shared many happy years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories until his passing. She devoted her life to her family and will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the unwavering love she gave to those around her. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Len) Bruce; her son, Dennis Trail; her sister, Wanda Perry, her brother, Gary Wilson; her grandchildren, Sheri (Paul) Grace, Lori (Mark) Tonazzi, Jeff (Cheryl) Moore, Mark (Heather) Bruce, and Greg Bruce; her great-grandchildren, Brock, Alec, Cale, Bradan, Elise, Isaiah, Jake, John, Jim, Tyler, and Luke; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her greatly. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Leo, Paula was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Trail Moore; her brothers, Charles Kelly and Don Wilson; and her sisters, Roberta Horn, Bonnie Lane, Marilyn Clarida, and Joyce Drone. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Wolf Creek Cemetery.
