Pauline Fry of Beavercreek, Ohio, and formerly of Eldorado, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021. She was 90 years old. Pauline was born November 4, 1931, on a farm near Equality, IL, the daughter of Cecil and Mayme (Upchurch) Brown. On September 20, 1952, she married Joe Fry, who preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Louise, and a brother, Robert. Pauline is survived by a son, Ron (Vicki), of Beavercreek. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Leah (Kyle) Liddy of Beavercreek and great-grandsons Isaac, age three, and Max, three weeks old. Pauline graduated from Galatia High School and Southeastern Illinois College. She spent most of her adult life working in downtown Eldorado, including some 35 years at Driskell Insurance Agency. She remained a member of Eldorado First Baptist Church. She loved her family, church and community, including the Eldorado Garden Study Club. She loved working downtown where she enjoyed interacting with the townspeople each day. Funeral services will be at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. service time. Rev. Randy Plunkett will officiate with burial in Cottage Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eldorado First Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
