Philip E. Brown

Philip E. Brown, 81, resident of Raleigh passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at his residence. Philip was born January 30, 1940 in Eldorado to the late Garland and Lilian (Gore) Brown. He served in the US Army. He married the former Ollie A. Carnett who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son: Tim (Cindy) Brown of Eldorado, two daughters: Cyndie (Wes) Cook of Marion, Janice (Heath Smith) Brown of Eldorado, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.  In accordance with Philip’s wishes all services will be private and a Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Southern Illinois or The Shriners Hospital.
