Ramona Raye Williams, 72, of Eldorado, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Marion, Illinois.
She was born on December 27, 1953, in Harrisburg, Illinois, to the late James and Letha Engleby. On September 15, 2001, she married Wayne D. Williams, and together they shared 24 years of marriage.
Ramona had a deep love for travel and spent 16 years as a truck driver, a career that perfectly matched her passion for the open road. She also enjoyed trips to Holiday World, playing cards with friends, spending time with her siblings, and participating in her bowling league.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne D. Williams of Eldorado; her daughters, Rebecca (Chad) Fitzgerald of Muddy, LaDonna (Mike) Martinez of Tuckerman, Arkansas, and Jamie (Richard) Buford of Newport, Arkansas; her sisters, Sandy Moris, Judy Baldwin, and Lori (Rusty) Smock, all of Harrisburg; and her brother, Scott (Donna) Hall of Corinth.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Angel Martinez, Gary Atkens of Harrisburg, Christina Martinez, Jhon Petters of Claremont, Brittney Fortune, Tyler Freeman of Tuckerman, Arkansas, Decoda Fortune, Karina Fortune of Tuckerman, Arkansas, Alex Smith of Newport, Arkansas, Dallan Brownfield of Newport, Arkansas, David Holdsclaw of Newport, Arkansas, Gage Garland and Brooklynn Garland of Searcy, Arkansas, Bre Buford and Nadea Buford, both of Newport, Arkansas.
Her great-grandchildren include Maisy Mahan, Waylon Holdsclaw, Jaelynn Garland, Caden Garland, Alora Chavez, and Carmon Petters, who is expected to arrive in late January. She also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com
