Richard "Rick" Allen King

Richard Allen “Rick” King, 61, resident of Harrisburg passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his residence. Rick was born May 28, 1959 in Marion, Illinois to the late Don and Donna (Smith) King. He married the former Carolyn R. Brittain who survives. Rick worked as a motorcycle mechanic at Mach 1 and later at H&H Honda. In addition to his wife Carolyn, Rick is survived by a son: Nick King of Harrisburg, a daughter: Allison (Stephan) Shea of Texas, two brothers: Randy (Debra) King of Carrier Mills, Nate (Tammy) King of New Burnside, 2 grandchildren: Braden and Elijah Shea of Texas, 2 aunts: Joyce Burns of Creal Springs, Robyn Vaughn of Herrin and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and several cousins. In accordance with Rick’s wishes he was cremated and a services will be held at a later date.
