Robert D. Miller

Robert D. Miller, 88, resident of Eldorado passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at his residence. Robert was born November 6, 1932 to the late Orlie and Madge M. (Graves) Miller. On July 6, 1955 he married the former Joyce J. Fritts who preceded him in death December 4, 2012.  Robert retired from Sahara Coal Company and also enjoyed farming. He served in the US Army and had a love for antique cars. Robert is survived by two daughters: Karen (Russell) Douglas of Eldorado, Benita Lappin of Eldorado, three grandchildren: Zachary (Kim) Douglas of Eldorado, Krystal Clark of Eldorado, Clayton Harrelson of Eldorado and four great grandchildren: Sidney Wheeler, Owen Clark, Hudson Clark and Soloman Douglas. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, September 13, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery.
