Roger Dale Young

Roger Dale Young, 73, lifelong resident of Saline County passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at Northwestern Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, Illinois. Roger was born September 19, 1950 in Eldorado to the late Curtis R. and Madeline (Short) Young. Roger is survived by two children: Colt Young of Cave-in-rock and Casey (KC) Carlile of Eldorado, two brothers: Larry (Linda) Young of Beecher, IL and Bob (Alma) Young of Eldorado, a sister: Donna Roby of Eldorado, five grandchildren: Curtis Young, Mitchell Young, Conner Carlile, Wyatt Carlile and Josie Carlile and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday,  July 31, 2024 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
