Rosanna Wood

Rosanna Wood, 75, a beloved resident of Eldorado, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. Rosanna was born on August 24, 1950, to the late George and Nellie (White) Briddick.

Rosanna dedicated much of her life to teaching. Outside the classroom, she was a passionate sports fan who rarely missed a game. She had a love for shopping, traveling, and reading.

Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren. She adored Asher, Scarlett, and Savi, and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.

Rosanna is survived by her sons, Ryan (Elizabeth) Wood of Henderson, KY, and Brandon (Tashina) Wood of Eldorado; her sister and best friend, Rochelle (Steve) Griffin of Eldorado; her grandchildren, Asher, Scarlett, and Savi; her aunts, Emily Choisser of Jasper, IN, and Ann Morris of Harco; her nephews, Josh (Ashley) Griffin of Eldorado and Luke (Aly) Griffin of Eldorado; and great-nieces and nephews, Emma, Alex, Olivia, Weston, and Izaak.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.  Visitation will start at 11:00 am until service time on Sunday.
