Roy DeNeal Obituary

Roy Eugene DeNeal, 90, resident of Harrisburg passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his residence. Roy was born May 24, 1929 in Harrisburg to the late Harry Leo and Rose Ella (Blackman) DeNeal. He married the former Vada Mae Brockett who survives. Roy was a farmer and worked for the Secretery of State for several years in Harrisburg. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons: Dennis (Cecile) DeNeal of Eldorado, Danny (Merry) Deneal of Harrisburg, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Kristie Smith. Mr. DeNeal was cremated at his request and there will be a burial and memorial service announced at a later date when restrictions are lifted on gatherings.
