Roy Edward “Roy Eddie” Graves, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family November 3, 2024 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel. Roy was born in Omaha, IL to the late Roy Roscoe and Ruth (Kuder) Graves. Roy spent most of his life in the Eldorado area where he worked on construction through the laborers union. On October 10, 1970 he married Billie Sue Dickerson. Roy is survived by his wife of 54 years Billie Sue, his daughter Amanda (Jason) Barton, sons: Daniel Healy and Robert (Melony) Healy, grandchildren: Dylan (Kira) Barton, Justin (Jenna) Barton, Krista (Tim) Doerr, Megan (Ryan) Reynolds, great grandchildren: Holly, Logan, Vivian and Jonah Doerr, Ava Sharp, Jayde, Hailey, Aiden and Xander Reynolds, brothers: Charles (Donna) Graves, Jim (Mary Lou) Graves, sister: Alice Sue Hannah, sister-in-law: Sandy Graves and many nieces and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his parents: Roscoe and Ruth Graves, Father and mother-in-law: Bill and Freida Dickerson, granddaughter: Kendra Marie Healey, brothers: William Graves and John Graves and brother-in-law: Carl Hannah. Arrangements have been made for cremation and there will be no formal services. A private service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
