Shannon Wayne Potts

Shannon Wayne Potts, 51, resident of Thompsonville, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence. Shannon was born October 27, 1969 in Harrisburg, Illinois. He worked for Slykhuis Farms. He was a member of Dorrisville Social Brethren Church. Shannon is survived by his mother Donna Dearing of Harrisburg, girlfriend: Amber Raudenbush of Thompsonville, sons: Jessie Wayne Potts of Alton, Chase Eric Potts, two brothers: Lindy Potts of Raleigh, Jason Potts of Raleigh, a sister: Gina (Mike) Mullins of Crossville, three grandchildren: Sophia Evelyn Potts, Jamara Mees, Sariya Mees and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lindell Potts. Funeral services will be at 12:00pm (noon) Saturday, January 30, 2021at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. John David Tucker and Rev. Jerry Wells officiating. Burial will be in Leamington Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 10:00am to service time on Saturday. Masks and social distancing will be required due to the pandemic.
