Sharon C. (Naas) McGuire

Sharon C. (Naas) McGuire, 80, resident of Junction passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Sharon grew up near Cottonwood and was born February 14, 1943 to the late Cedric and Roberta (Drone) Naas. On November 26, 1964, Thanksgiving Day, she married John Patrick McGuire who preceded her in death November 2, 2023. She was a member of the New Life Christian Center. Sharon loved the Lord and her family above all things.   She also loved and enjoyed her church and church family.  She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard even if it was just mowing the lawn.  Everywhere Sharon went she witnessed to people and invited them to church. Sharon is survived by three daughters: Dana (Deon) Scott of Junction, Lori (Steven) Payne of Ina, Jennifer McGuire of Junction, 9 grandchildren: James Scott (fiancé Kayleigh Reardanz), Alex Scott, Jonathan (Destinee) Payne, Ryan (Olivia) Payne, Danielle (River) Doss, John Lowe, Dustin Lowe, Tyler Lowe, Patrick Lowe, 4 great grandchildren: Reece Crane, Kaitlynn Lowe, Ruth Payne, Paxton Deon Scott, a sister: Darlene (L. Pat) Drone and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister: Judy Lee and two brothers: George and Teddy Naas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2024 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Blake Clayton officiating. Visitation will be Monday 11:00 am to service time. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Ridgway. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the New Life Christian Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.
