Stanley Eugene Walters

Stanley Eugene Walters, 67, resident of Eldorado passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Ferrell Hospital. Stanley was born December 29, 1957 in Eldorado to the late Earl and Virginia (Cochran) Walters. He married the former Belva Lue Cantrell who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by two siblings: Nancy Jane Morris of Harrisburg, Beth Ann Walters of Harrisburg, eight children; Jennifer Dolden of Eldorado, Jeremy (Christine) Walters of Eldorado, Steven Summers of Eldorado, Jessica Jackson (Darrin) Brown of Eldorado, James (Melissa) Lester of Ohio, Max Walters of Eldorado, Casey (Arianna) Walters of Eldorado, grandchildren; Cody McGill of Eldorado, Britni (Dylon) Minor of Eldorado, Taylor (Faith Meister) Griffith of Eldorado, Makana Reid of Eldorado, Lucy Walters of Nashville, IL, Jackson Walters of Eldorado, Jeremiah Walters of Eldorado, Josselyn Walters of Eldorado, Avery Walters of Eldorado, Zackkory Summers of Eldorado, Gage Summers of Eldorado, Maci Summers of Eldorado, Tyler Lester of Ohio, Maylee Lester of Ohio, Alysha (Dakota) McGowan of Eldorado, Paxton Walters and Kamryn Walters, great grandchildren; Carsyn McGill of Galatia, Easton Rector of Harrisburg, Brantley Williams of Florida, Addison Minor of Eldorado, Corvin Minor of Eldorado, Callie McGill, Kelsey Jimenez of Mt. Vernon, Gracie Jimenez of Mt. Vernon, Brody McGowen, Lawson McGowen, Kolton McGowen, a nephew: Damian (Tasha) Morris of Harrisburg, a niece: Felica (Ryan) Murray of Harrisburg and four nieces: Presley Morris, Tabitha Walters, Violet Murray and Maddie Murray. in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Stephen Walters and Rodney “Rope” Walters. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, April 21, 2025 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, with Rev. Scott Pilkington officiating. Visitation will be Monday 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to help offset funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
