Stephan Earl Walters

Stephen Earl Walters - otherwise known as “Steve” or “Shine” - of Eldorado, IL passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022. Steve was born on September 29, 1953 to the late Henry Earl Walters and the late Virginia Mae Walters. He was an avid arrowhead hunter who also loved going to watch his nephews play in their many various sporting events. Among the things he loved most, his nieces and nephews ranked high on the list. He also loved antiques and collectibles. Steve is survived by his brother, Stanley (Tiny) Walters of Eldorado, IL, and his sisters, Nancy Jane Morris of Harrisburg, IL and Beth Walters of Eldorado, IL, his nephews, Jeremy Walters, James Lester, Steven Summers, Damian Morris, Clint Price, Casey Walters, and Max Walters, his nieces, Jennifer Dolden, Felicia Murray and Tabetha Walters, many aunts and uncles, even more numerous cousins and even great-nieces and great-nephews. Left behind is his beloved dog, Tinker Bell, whom Steve loved with all his heart. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney “Rope” Walters, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.  His remains will be cremated and a private memorial will be held at noon on October 22nd, 2022 at Karel Park.
