Steven Sons Obituary

Steven F. Sons, 50, resident of Broughton passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Steven was born November 3, 1970 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late Frank and Sandra (Rorer) Sons. He married the former Amy Jo Phillips who survives. Steven was a former cook at the Red Onion in Equality. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter: Amanda Vailes of Broughton, a stepson: James Davis of Carbondale, three sisters: Connie Troiani, Heidi Harte, Tammy Viera and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Colonial Terrace Funeral home with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am to service time.
