Susie Lee (Linville) Morton

Susie Lee (Linville) Morton, 97, of Eldorado, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Susie was born on June 14, 1926, in Olive Hill, TN, to William and Hadie (Wilkerson) Linville. She was married to Arnold Charles Morton in 1957, with whom she had one son, Donis Arnold Morton. The family were dedicated to God, and followed a migration in their church from Iuka, MS to Eldorado, IL in 1974, where she lived out the remainder of her days. Susie was preceded in death by two husbands; Arnold, who passed in 1985, and Glen Sinnett who passed in 1994; and finally by her only child, Donis, in 2015. She is survived by one grandson, Adam (Amanda) Morton, of Raleigh, IL; and one great-grandson, Nihl Esten Morton, also of Raleigh; as well as her church family at Gospel Assembly Church, Mill Shoals, IL. Funeral services will beat 12:00 pm, noon, Friday, December 22, 2023 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. Brian Voight officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time on Friday.  Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
